Message from Caroline

Most of us go through seasons of life that leave us feeling more stressed or overwhelmed than we’d like. Sometimes life feels out of balance or just “off.” We want to feel better but aren’t sure how.

Maybe you’re noticing that your relationships are strained or you’re constantly feeling on edge. Maybe you just aren’t motivated to get up in the morning and feel lonely and disconnected from the outside world.

While we may or may not know why we feel this way, it can be difficult to navigate next steps alone.

I’m Caroline King, a therapist at Silver River Counseling. And I help teens, young adults, and individuals understand their story and how that relates to the ways in which they interact with and experience the world.

I frequently work with clients experiencing difficulties associated with identity development, family relationships, romantic relationships, depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions.

The idea of sharing our struggles and vulnerabilities with someone else can be daunting and uncomfortable. This is why I take a personalized approach to working with clients by tailoring my methods to what works best for them and creating a comfortable space where they can be their authentic selves.

Here’s how you can get started with counseling.

The first step is to fill out the intake form on the website.

Second, we’ll reach out to you to answer any questions you have about payment or the process.

And, thirdly, if we are a good fit, we’ll schedule the first appointment and begin the counseling process.

So if you are feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or struggling with relationships or life transitions, and you’re ready to work with someone who will tailor their approach to your needs and create a comfortable space to heal and grow, schedule an appointment today.

“I have had the pleasure to work with Caroline professionally. She balances professionalism with compassion in her work with clients. She makes people feel comfortable and safe by being genuinely accepting. I feel lucky to collaborate with Caroline!”

It’s easy to fall into the trap of wearing a mask. We do it to protect ourselves from criticism, rejection, or even just discomfort.
